Richard Porter (b. 1988, UK) is a multidisciplinary artist. Engaging with an infinite range of source material, observations and ideas, his work seeks to both deepen the mystery as well as bring to the forefront urgent issues affecting our world, including violence, warfare and ecological collapse.

Interested in the honesty of materials and the handmade, his practice seeks to give form to what cannot be said through language, striving to configure a queer space that is open and free from conventional constrictions.

His solo exhibitions '2' (2026) and Night Glyph (2021) were both held at Amanda Wilkinson, London. He has participated in group exhibitions including Origin Story at Gordon Robichaux, New York (2023), Derek Jarman’s Modern Nature at John Hansard Gallery, Southampton (2022), and I Know Where I'm Going, Who Can I Be Now at The Modern Institute, Glasgow (2021).

In addition to his visual art practice, he runs the queer independent publisher, Pilot Press
